Our Story

Founded by a mother-daughter duo in 2007, and inspired by a bright little Yorkie (named Mia), we found a gap in the market for stylish, sustainable women's accessories at an affordable price. 

Our Armenian founder, Hilda, built her career in fashion, being one of the Buyers of Browns of London back in the 90s and building a small client base of loyal followers who wished to echo her style. After a short break for motherhood, Hilda got back into fashion with a new goal - bringing the continental flair she had grown up with to British style without compromising on price.

We started in 2007 with gold-plated jewellery and semi-precious stones. Since then, we have expanded to vegan handbags, scarves, kaftans and sleepwear. Now with the help of Stephanie (Hilda's daughter), Mia Jewels London aims to be the everyday brand for on-the-go women who don't wish to compromise on style. Every item and collection is unique and carefully curated - each has been named after a special person or place in our lives.

Over the years we have been featured in Vogue, Elle and Vanity Fair with several successful stints at pop up shops in Notting Hill, Chelsea and Soho. However, our heart will always lie with our favourite pop-up on Portobello Road - we may even dare to call it our flagship pop-up.
